"Living the jewel as an art form, since artistic reality expresses emotion."
In this sense, Luciano Capossela seeks to combine gold and unusual materials (such as ceramic) and make them communicate. Both have their own absolute autonomy, yet when merged together show traits of perfect harmony worthy of the mind that devised them and the hand that modelled them. Such . is how these minor works of art which, when worn, come to life and embellish. This merging of materials gives the work the appearance of a bas- relief , arousing a multitude of echoes , suspended between the stylization of some of the figures which are striking for the extreme realism that they portray - especially in their facial expressions - and the abstraction of reality , visible at times only through those rhythms that move the surface both on a horizontal and vertical level.. The connection between the notion and the jewel is therefore a logical line between the mind and sculpture, an integral part of the expressive alphabet of this artist who, involved in his quest to set the forms, shapes and chisels incomparable art treasures inspired by the most diverse themes.
